Blue hair color is not the typical choice when it comes to the regular selections available but there are definitely areas that can be colored the various shades of blue to produce an added attention affect. Blue hair color is absolutely not meant for the everyday norm but for those who want that added extra color, blue is not a bad choice as it blends well as a compliment to darker hair color but individuals with lighter hair color should beware that blue extremely stands out. There are not many people who have solid blue hair color by itself, but blue highlights or lowlights can be added to the base hair color or combined with other hair colors to produce creative coloring. Blue hair color is already hard to create in specific shades and even hair colorists at salons may have difficulty if they are inexperienced. Usually black works best but other base hair colors still work as well.
