What’s nice about wedge hairstyles for older women are that they are fairly easy to maintain. This cut looks great on many different hair types (straight or wavy or even with soft curls).

It also draws her profile up for a more flattering silhouette.

I mixed the bowl and bob cut and added some volume by texturizing the back of her head. My color inspiration was possible starting with the Redken bleach and then glazing with the Shades EQ gloss 09v / 09t/09p / 09b / clear in equal parts.

I’d say in general this style could be a wash and go, but would usually look best with at least minimal styling, if not a full blow dry. That all really depends on the client’s hair texture.
