When a client has their hair cut very close to the scalp, it reveals details of their face that longer styles cover up. Without hair to obscure the features, the jaw, cheekbones, and temples stand out even more. A whisper pixie is a cut that may look soft and delicate, yet it is very bold and takes a lot of confidence to wear. Less is more, and with a whisper pixie, it rings very true.
One of my clients from about a decade ago is a great example of this cut. She walked in with her hair grazing her shoulders, and you could tell she was very over it. I will not change my mind on the length of the curls, so my plan is to simply point cut to thin the hair and as a result, try not to disrupt the curl clumps too much. Just scrunch some into your hair while it’s wet, use a diffuser and you are good to go!
