Spring Haircut Trends Women In Their 50s Are Getting in 2026

People feel like they should do something different with themselves as the seasons change. Even with the forsythia blooming early due to the warmth during winter, I feel those changes too. After a long, cold winter, spring means new beginnings. When it comes to seasonal changes, I like to get new hair. Since change is the essence of spring, I look forward to seeing more people get new hair as the season approaches.

I think about women in their fifties, and this is true for all the clients I have worked with. They love and value themselves the way they are. They come to the salon with an understanding and direction. I see this in all the hairstyles I create for this clientele. This group is new to adopting hairstyles as a form of liberation. A client from last spring had the same shoulder-length haircut for a decade. She didn’t even love that style. It was something that surprised us both. It is conversations like this that make the hairstyle stand out. I have many new style and cut ideas for this spring that I want to share with my clients. I also have some cuts left over from last spring that I want to show. I’m looking forward to starting a new spring collection.
