When she finally decided to let it grow out, she was upsettingly surprised. She said, ‘It’s actually beautiful, and I wasted all that time.’ This is the attitude we are looking for.
Most of the time, the secret with some styles is expanding the silhouette with a ‘before’ and what some see as a problem with some styles. It’s ideal, and as a result, some styles are designed to prepare the hair closer to the ideal state than it is now. With age, there are some styles built to provide adequate volume below the upper and lower margins of the hair. Here are some of the styles that are meant for the years that have been lost in styles from the ‘before’.

I will say that if you love defined curls, a layered haircut could require a fair amount of product to style. She probably has a great diffuser and some awesome hair genetics, or just one, but I’d bet money on either option. The length falls right below chin level which is one of my personal favorite lengths for curly bobs. The volume on top is a natural occurrence with this type of texture and I think this is the kind of cut where you spend a little bit of time styling in the morning and then you can just leave it. I feel this works on the right person and that’s because grey hair takes on pastel tones like nothing else, it’s basically pre-lightened.
