I had a wonderful consultation with a woman in her seventies who showed me a photo of herself from ten years ago and said, “I want to look like HER again.” I told her, “There is no reason why you can’t look like her.” I saw a difference in styling. Her previous stylist had given her some feathered layers that worked WITH her face. Over the years her style changed into a cut that was way too blunt and thick for her face. The minute I put some feathering back in, she started crying in my chair.

I think that when it comes to feathered haircuts, especially for women over 70 with rounder faces, there is a lot of untapped potential that I don’t think people are seeing.
