Solia Ceramic Flat Iron
The Solia ceramic flat iron is one of the newest brands of flat irons available. Made by Solia, a beauty company founded in
1994, Solia brands add a touch of their own technology to an already excellent product. With their main
focus on ceramic flat irons, Solia is able to use their resources on improving their product very well. The Solia ceramic flat
irons are very good hair straightening tools. Some of the better ones in the market actually. Features
The Solia has two models which vary in plate width, either 1-3/4" plate width or 1-1/4" plate width. Solia brands of ceramic
flat irons have many of the features other ceramic irons have including variable temperature control and quick heating.
A key feature of these ceramic irons is Dynamic Alignment System which creates a distributed and even contact area with
the hair. This allows the hair to be straightened evenly and with ease as pulling and snagging of hair is less likely to
happen. Another great feature of the Solia irons are that they use ceramic/tourmaline for the plating. Tourmaline
is added to create more negative ions that make hair silky and shiny. The tourmaline is a great enhancement above regular
ceramic plated flat irons.
Using a Solia Iron
Using a Solia can take some knowledge if you have never straightened your own hair before. If possible get
someone who has knowledge of hair straightening to show you how it is done properly and how sprays and other hair care
products and increase the aestetics of straightened hair. We have included a quick use guide from Solia available for
download on our site. Please read carefully before using.
Should You Buy One and Where
We highly recommend the Solia flat irons because of their ease of use, great results when used properly, and fairly cheaper
price than many ceramic flat irons on the market. The tourmaline/ceramic plating is a key element in our recommendation as
well because of its increase in negative ions for shinier, silky smooth hair. The Sedu ceramic flat iron and the Solia one
are pretty much equal and both are great buys.
