Techniques: Blow dry and spiral curling iron
Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, finishing hairspray, shine spray or gloss
Styling Steps:
1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part hair diagonally above the arch in the left eyebrow.
3. Blow dry hair completely.
4. Section hair off in horizontal 1-2” layers around the head.
5. Starting in the back on the bottom, take 1” pieces and wrap from ends to scalp around a spiral curling iron. When layer is complete, mist lightly with hairspray.
6. Move upward after completing each horizontal section. Alternate direction of curls.
7. When curling the hair around the face, curl toward the face on the right and away from the face on the left.
8. If any of the curls are too thick, gently break them apart with your fingers.
9. Tease hair underneath for more volume.
10. Spray the finished style with hairspray to keep the curls in place and finish off by pulling gloss through the ends of the curls gently or by spraying with shine spray.
