| SPECIAL EVENT CURLS: This style features medium to long length layers with large spiral curls. The top is smoothed back from the face for a softer look and tucked behind the ears. The overall effect is dreamy!

Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, root lift, Slick Works by Paul Mitchell, finishing hairspray, shine spray
Styling Steps:
1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part hair above arch in the left eyebrow to almost crown area.
3. Spray a small amount of root lift in the roots in crown area.
4. Blow dry hair completely.
5. Use large round brush in the crown area to finish blow drying roots. This will give you more volume.
6. Following manufacturers’ instructions on label, apply a small amount of Slick Works from middle through ends.
7. Section hair into 2” horizontal layers. Starting in the back, take 2” sections off the bottom layer and smooth hair. Spray hair lightly with hairspray and wrap around large barrel curling iron from ends to scalp. Release after 20-30 seconds, depending on hair type.
8. Mist each completed layer with hairspray to set curls. Move up layer by layer, alternating direction of curls.
9. For bangs, slide curling iron from roots through ends, curling under just a little bit as you slide it out. Smooth bangs and sides back and tuck behind ears.
10. Spray completed style very lightly with finishing hairspray, then mist a very light layer of shine spray if necessary. If using shine spray, cover roots with your free hand to protect roots from product. Shine spray will make hair look greasy and limp if you use too much or get it in the roots.
