SHORT AND SWEET: This style features long layers as face framing and short layers everywhere else! The back is cut really short, but the pieces in front are left long for a dramatic look. The red color enhances the drama and makes this style look hot!

Suitable for:

Face shapes: oval, square, round, heart, diamond

Hair texture: fine, medium or coarse

Hair density: thin, average to thick

Styling:

Maintenance: medium

Time: 10-15 minutes

Techniques: Blow dry

Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, Slick Works by Paul Mitchell, finishing hairspray and Gloss Drops by Paul Mitchell

Styling Steps:

1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part the hair above the arch in the left eyebrow.
3. Following directions on the packaging, apply a small amount of Slick Works from middle through ends of hair.
4. Blow dry hair almost completely.
5. Using a large round brush, finish blow drying while smoothing hair around brush and sliding out. Make sure to blow from roots to ends.
6. In the bangs, roll the brush forward over the forehead and to the right a little bit.
7. Tease the hair in the crown just a little bit. For face framing, roll brush a little forward and under while sliding out.
8. Run fingers through back of hair to pull ends forward a little bit.
9. Spray the completed style with finishing hairspray to smooth style and control fly aways.
10. Apply a small amount of Gloss Drops to ends of hair to make them look piecy. Avoid roots when using this product or it will make hair look greasy and limp.
