| HIP SHORT CUT: This style features short layers all around with longer pieces razored in around the ears to soften up the style and add femininity. Short layers are cut in all around using the razoring technique to make it soft and edgy at the same time. Very hip!

Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, Slick Works by Paul Mitchell, finishing hairspray, Gloss Drops by Paul Mitchell
Styling Steps:
1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part hair above the arch in the left eyebrow.
3. Follow instructions on the package label and apply a small amount of Slick Works. Put product only on ends of hair, then brush.
4. Blow dry hair completely using large paddle brush, smoothing hair down and from left to right in front, down on the sides, and down in back.
5. Pull flat iron through hairs that still have any wave or curl to them.
6. Tease hair in the crown if necessary.
7. Spray the finished style with finishing hairspray to control fly away hairs, and add shine.
8. Pull Gloss Drops through tips of bangs and face framing to make them look a little piecy, curling the pieces over the ears just a little.
