VOLUME THAT ADDS APPEAL: (This is a variation of style #5, #9 and #11) This haircut features a bang that sweeps the eyes and can be pulled off to one side or styled many different ways. Long layers are added through the rest of the hair for fullness and versatility.
Suitable for:
Face shape: oval, diamond, heart
Hair texture: fine to medium
Hair density: semi-thin, average, thick
Styling:
Time: 20-30 minutes depending on thickness
Techniques: blow dryer, paddle brush, large radial (round) brush
Products: volumizing foam, hairspray
Styling Steps:
1. Apply volumizing foam to clean damp hair. Distribute evenly and well. Pay particular attention to the roots of the hair.
2. Begin blow drying with the radial brush. Begin at the crown, rolling the hair back. As you blow dry the top, hair should have the volume, but begin to part naturally where your natural part is at the crown.
3. Blow dry bangs under with the radial brush.
4. Continue to blow dry with the radial brush, blowing the ends in the back downward. When you get to the very bottom, lightly flair the ends outward.
5. Around the face, blow dry the ends back.
6. Fluff through the style with your fingers.
7. Arrange in a pleasing manner, and finish with hairspray to hold.
