ELEGANT CURLS: This haircut features a bang that sweeps the eyes and can be pulled off to one side or styled off the face as in this picture. Long layers are added through the rest for versatility and fullness.
Suitable for:
Face shape: oval, round, square
Hair texture: fine to medium
Hair density: semi-thin, average, thick
Styling:
Time: 30-40 minutes
Techniques: blow dry, hot rollers or large spiral hot rollers
Products: firm styling gel, curl defining crème, hair spray
Styling Steps:
1. Apply firm styling gel to clean damp hair. Distribute evenly through hair.
2. Blow dry the hair.
3. When dry, begin setting hair on hot rollers. Start curling bangs back and continue to roll the top back, sitting the rollers in the center of the top of the head.
4. Roll the sides and back down. Be sure to roll the curlers all the way to the scalp.
5. Let the hair cool for 5 minutes then remove rollers.
6. Brush through the hair.
7. Back comb the top of the hair for fullness.
8. Begin to finger through a bit of curl defining crème to accent strands of hair.
9. Finish with hairspray to hold.
