Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, Round Trip by Paul Mitchell, Quick Slip by Paul Mitchell, finishing hairspray, shine spray
Styling Steps:
1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Follow directions on packaging for Round Trip and Quick Slip. Apply a small amount of each to hair from middle through ends. Brush product through hair.
3. Part hair above arch in the right eyebrow.
4. Flip hair upside down to loosen it up, then blow dry using a diffuser to help create non-frizzy curls.
5. DO NOT BRUSH THROUGH THE CURLS. Comb through hair using fingers only.
6. Spray the completed style with finishing hairspray to control any fly away hairs.
7. For extra volume, flip head upside down and spray hairspray underneath the hair. Let it dry before flipping hair back up.
8. Mist hair lightly with shine spray, making sure to cover the roots with your free hand. This product will make your hair look greasy and limp if you use too much or get it in the roots, so follow the manufacturers’ directions closely.
9. Secure hair in a loose side ponytail on the left side in back. Leave out some longer layers from the top as well as the bangs.
