Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, finishing hairspray, shine spray
Styling Steps:
1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Blow dry hair completely.
3. Section hair in 2 inch horizontal layers around the head.
4. Starting in the back on the bottom, take 1-2 inch sections and wrap hair around curling iron in a spiral. Release after 20-30 seconds depending on hair type.
5. Spray completed layer with hairspray and move on to next layer. Spray each layer as you finish to help set the curls.
6. For bangs and face framing, curl hair away from face.
7. Take the bangs and brush back. Tease hair a little bit for more volume and spray with hairspray to get hair to stay in place.
8. Smooth hair up and back on the right side to almost the middle of your head. Use bobby pins that overlap in an X shape to hold hair up. Continue this process all along the right side of the head and smooth with your comb when you are done.
9. Spray the completed style with finishing hairspray to lock in curls and add shine.
10. Follow the instructions on the shine spray and mist a small amount over ends, making sure you cover roots with your free hand to avoid getting product in them. Too much product or product in roots will make hair look greasy and limp.
