Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, finishing hairspray and shine spray

Styling Steps:

1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part hair above the arch in the left eyebrow.
3. Blow dry hair almost completely.
4. Section hair into horizontal layers. Using a large round brush, finish drying the hair around the brush for added volume.
5. In the bang area, start on the left at the roots and roll the brush under and across the forehead for that side swept look.
6. Using the horizontal layers, start in the back on the bottom and curl 2 inch sections around a large barrel curling iron up the hair about half way. Release the curl after about 30 seconds. Move up the head, layer by layer.
7. Tease the root area in the crown til you reach the desired volume.
8. Spray the style with a little finishing hairspray to hold the curls, polish off the style, and hold down any fly away hairs.
9. Follow the instructions on the shine spray and mist a small amount over the ends only. Cover the roots with your free hand to protect them from the shine.
