Techniques: Blow dry and flat iron

Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, texturizing paste, Gloss Drops by Paul Mitchell and finishing hairspray

Styling Steps:

1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part hair above the arch in the left eyebrow.
3. Put diffuser on blow dryer and hold hair in diffuser while blowing the back of the head dry.
4. For the top of the head, use a large round brush to smooth the hair dry while you blow dry.
5. In the bang area, start on the left at the roots and roll the brush under and across the forehead for that side swept look.
6. Tease the root area in the crown til you reach the desired volume.
7. Following directions on the texturizing paste, apply a small amount to the naturally curled hair in back to separate the ends and help them stay that way.
8. Mist the crown area and top with a little finishing hairspray to polish off the style and hold down any fly away hairs.
9. Follow the instructions on the Gloss Drops and pull a small amount through the ends only of the hairs in front.
