Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, Slick Works by Paul Mitchell, finishing hairspray and shine spray
Styling Steps:
1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part hair above the arch in the right eyebrow in a zigzag pattern.
3. Following the directions on the package, apply a very small amount of Slick Works to the hair from the middle through the ends.
4. Blow dry hair almost completely.
5. Section the hair into horizontal layers.
6. Using a large round brush, finish blow drying the hair from roots to ends with hot air. Spray a little bit of hairspray on the hair and let it cool before you remove the brush.
7. In the bang area, start on the right at the roots and roll the brush under and across the forehead for that side swept look.
8. Tease the root area in the crown til you reach the desired volume.
9. Mist with a little finishing hairspray to polish off the style and hold down any fly away hairs.
10. Follow the instructions on the shine spray and spray only on the ends of the hair. Cover the roots with your free hand to protect them from the shine so your hair doesn’t look greasy or heavy.
