Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, Slick Works by Paul Mitchell, finishing hairspray and shine spray
Styling Steps:
1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part hair above arch in the right eyebrow.
3. Following instructions on the packaging for Slick Works, apply a small amount from middle of hair through ends so hair doesn’t appear greasy.
4. Blow dry hair almost completely.
5. Using a large round brush, finish blow drying hair around brush to add volume and body in the roots.
6. Section hair in horizontal layers when hair is dry.
7. Starting in the back on the bottom, pull the flat iron through roots to ends, flipping up just a bit when you pull it off.
8. In bang area, start on the right at the roots and pull the flat iron under and across the forehead at the same time.
9. Comb through the style using your fingers to loosen everything up.
10. Spray the entire style with finishing hairspray, then follow with a fine mist of shine spray on the ends, using your free hand to cover the root area so it doesn’t get a greasy look.
