LUCIOUS CURLS FOR ANY OCCASION! This sexy haircut has eye-grazing side swept bangs and long layers for fullness and styling versatility. The sides are slightly tapered by the face. Techniques: blowdry with paddle brush, 1½" hot rollers or curling iron, clippies to hold curl in place while it cools (if using a curling iron)
Products: styling gel, thermal setting spray, satin paste, hairspray
Styling Steps:
1. Distribute styling gel through clean damp hair, working from roots to ends.
2. Flip head upside down and begin blow drying hair, to remove excess moisture.
3. Flip head back up and begin using paddle brush to smooth the hair while drying.
4. Part hair on the side and sweep bangs over one eye with the brush and blow dryer.
5. Spray thermal setting spray on a strand of hair and wind hair onto a hot roller. (If using a curling iron, curl a 2-3" wide strand of hair with the curling iron. Carefully remove the iron, trying to keep hair in rolled position, and use a clippie to clip curl to hold it, to allow it to cool in place).
6. After all hair is curled, allow it to cool.
7. Remove curlers (or clippies) and lightly brush through the hair.
8. Use a small amount of satin paste on the fingers and define individual strands of hair. Use more satin paste as necessary.
9. When curls are arranged to your liking, apply hairspray to hold hair in place.
