FLIRTY AND FUN! This style features “square” layering to help add a lot of movement and texture to the look. A bit of backcombing in the crown adds fullness and dresses up the look. Because the layering is highly activated, and allows the hair to move more naturally, it can be a low maintenance style! Carmel highlights add pizzazz!

Styling:

Time: 10-15 minutes
Techniques: blow dryer, large round (radial) brush or 1½" blower brush
Products: root lifter, volumizing foam (fine hair), defining gel, hairspray
Styling Steps:
1. Apply root lifter at the roots of clean, towel dried hair.
2. Apply volumizing foam or defining gel through the rest of the strands.
3. Blow dry hair upside down using a brush to smooth a bit as you go.
4. When hair is almost dry, flip head back up and use round brush to add a flip to the ends of the hair.
5. Bend the ends of the hair around the face, inward.
6. Part hair in the middle.
7. Comb crown section back and add a bit of back combing to help add fullness.
8. Hairspray if desired for hold and to keep hair out of the face.
