A VARIATION ON “INSTANT HOLLYWOOD GLAM”: This is a different take on the previous style (A-46). Hair is pulled to the side in a semi-loose ponytail.
Suitable for:
Face shape: oval, diamond, square, round
Hair texture: fine to medium
Hair density: average to semi-thick
Styling:
Maintenance: high
Time: 30+ minutes
Techniques: blow-dryer, curling iron, hot rollers
Products: thermal setting spray, smoothing polish, hairspray, cloth covered band to hold hair, bobby pins
Styling Steps:
1. Dry, curl and brush hair as described in A-46. Steps 1-9
2. Part hair on the side. Hair that is now on the “heavier” side is swept back and a semi-high side pony tail is created.
3. Once the hair is in the pony tail, take a small ribbon of hair from under the pony tail and wrap it around the band.
4. Secure the ends of the ribbon of hair underneath the pony tail with a bobby pin.
5. Use hairspray to hold and impart shine.
