HOT CELEBRITY LOOK! This hair has long layers throughout the hair with long side-swept bangs starting below tip of nose. Subtle highlights and red hues add dimension and drama.

Techniques: blow dryer, 1½" barrel curling iron, or curl hair with a flat iron
Products: root lifter, volumizing foam, gel wax, hairspray, hair pins or ornament
Styling Steps:
1. Apply root lifter at roots of hair and a volumizing foam through rest of hair.
2. Blow dry hair.
3. Apply a thermal protect spray to hair before using a curling iron or other iron.
4. Curl hair with curling iron, curling vertically using semi large sections of hair in a “ringlet” fashion.
5. Lightly brush hair, then separate hair out of the crown area (top back of head) and side part bangs for a smooth look up front.
6. Use a small-tooth comb or a back-combing comb, start “teasing” the hair towards the scalp in the crown area. Use an “egg beater” movement with your hand/wrist to push the hair down to the scalp with the comb.
7. Backcomb as much hair as needed to give a pleasing shape to the top of the head and create a flow with the style.
8. Smooth out hair that you see on the top section so you can’t see the back-combing underneath.
9. Arrange the hair in that section so it fits the round of the head from the front view of the head.
10. Use a bobby pin to pin that hair down in the back
11. Take another section in front of this and smooth the hair over the “bump” and pin right where you pinned the previous section. Continue to use hair from the front of the previous section and pin it back. Use a hair ornament to cover the pins in the back.
12. Use a very small amount of defining crème to define and shine curls.
13. Finish with hairspray.
