WISPY CURLS: This sexy style features lots of layering and bangs that are cut to the tip of the nose and blended in with the rest of the cut.

Suitable for:

Face shape: oval, round, square, diamond, oblong

Hair texture: fine to medium

Hair density: thin to average

Styling:

Maintenance: high

Time: 20-30 minutes

Techniques: blow dry with paddle brush, 1½" barrel curling iron

Products: volumizing mousse, thermal setting spray, texturizing paste, hairspray

Styling Steps:

1. Apply mousse to clean damp hair.

2. Blow dry with paddle brush.

3. Part the hair diagonally with part starting in the middle and going diagonally to one side.

4. Spray on thermal setting spray to sections of hair to be curled.

5. Use a 1½" barrel curling iron, and wrap (wind) sections of hair around the barrel of the iron. (Don’t use the clamp, simply wind the hair around the barrel and hold the ends as close to the barrel as you can without burning your fingers.)

6. Repeat to sections of hair and customize where you want the curls to be. The smaller the section the tighter the curl will look, the thicker the section the larger the curl will look.

7. Back comb sections of hair in the crown for added fullness on top.

8. Use a small amount of paste on fingers to define curls, and define the bang.

9. Finish with hairspray if desired.
