RIBBONS OF CARAMEL: This style features slick spiral curls with little layering. The ribbons of caramel color add dimension and interest to the fabulous milk chocolate color. Easy to maintain, this style will go anywhere with you and have heads turning!

Suitable for:

Face shapes: oval, square, round, heart, diamond

Hair texture: fine, medium or coarse

Hair density: average to thick

Styling:

Maintenance: high

Time: 20-30 minutes

Techniques: Blow dry and curling iron

Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, finishing hairspray and shine spray

Styling Steps:

1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part hair above the left eyebrow in a random zigzag pattern.
3. Blow dry hair completely dry.
4. Section hair into horizontal layers. Starting in the back on the bottom, use a large barrel curling iron and wrap random chunks of hair around curling iron, from ends up, for 30 seconds. Release.
5. For the bang area, only wrap the bottom half of the hair around the curling iron.
6. Don’t brush the hair or comb with fingers. If you need to separate curls, hold one up and let it fall apart a little bit. Then slick the separate curls into their own individual spiral curls.
7. Spray the completed style with finishing hairspray to help hold the curls. Use a very light mist of shine spray on ends, using your free hand to cover root area so it doesn’t look greasy.
