Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, root lift, Slick Works by Paul Mitchell, finishing hairspray, shine spray or gloss
Styling Steps:
1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part hair just above the right eyebrow.
3. Following instructions on the packaging, apply a small amount of Slick Works from middle of hair through ends. Also apply a small amount of root lift throughout crown area roots.
4. Blow dry hair almost completely dry.
5. Use a large round brush starting in the crown area. Wrap hair around brush and blow dry. Let it cool, spray with hairspray, then slide brush out.
6. For sides of hair, wrap brush downward and for the bangs, wrap the brush downward and across the forehead.
7. When hair is completely dry, wrap the ends of the hair around a large barrel curling iron then release after about 30 seconds.
8. Tease the hair in the crown area for maximum lift. Spray with hairspray underneath while teasing to ensure that it stays.
9. Smooth over the top of the hair gently with a comb.
10. Use a small amount of finishing hairspray to hold the curls and complete the look with shine spray or gloss to make the hair glossy.
