LONG BRUNETTE WAVES: This style features long chunky layers and bangs. The ends in the layers are chipped out, giving you the choppy look.
Suitable for:
Face shape: oval, round, square, round, heart, diamond
Hair texture: fine, medium or course
Hair density: thin, average to thick
Styling:
Maintenance: high
Time: 20-30 minutes
Techniques: Blow dry and flat iron
Products: volumizing mousse for fine or medium hair, smoothing gel for coarse hair, finishing hairspray, shine spray or gloss, pomade
Styling Steps:
1. Apply mousse or gel according to hair type.
2. Part hair just above the pupil of the left eye.
3. Blow dry hair completely dry.
4. Use a flat iron to create the curls throughout. You don’t want the same curls all over so don’t try to make them perfect.
5. Grab random pieces of hair and insert ends. Quickly roll the hair up the flat iron like it was a curling iron, then release.
6. Don’t brush. If your curls are too big, pull them apart with your fingers.
7. Use a small amount of finishing hairspray to hold the curls.
8. Complete the look with shine spray or gloss to make the hair look sleek.
9. Follow instructions on the packaging for the pomade to make the ends look choppy.
