Tonal Blast
Tonal blast is a variation of dip dyeing. The difference is that a tonal blast adds an extra shot of vibrancy that you don’t generally get with dip dyeing. It works great on any hair color except black. You won’t see much of any color on black, so if you want to use this technique ask your stylist to pre-lighten your hair. You can get some fun contrast with lighter colors like pinks, blues, greens, yellows, purples, reds… Once you have the lightness in your hair, you can pretty much add in whatever color suits you best.
If you don’t want to commit to a specific color quite yet, ask your stylist to help you choose some extensions in the colors you are considering. Have your stylist put them in, then wear them for a couple of days to see how you like it. You’ll know pretty quickly what works with your lifestyle and your wardrobe after just a day or two.
