Redheads, are you searching for a new fall ‘do’? We at How to be a Redhead are into big, classy, sleek, smooth hair for the upcoming months. Recently, we worked on creating our third ‘Red’itorial (pictured above) and couldn’t help but notice our inspiration for fall hair is connected with the popularity of the hit show, Mad Men; specifically, redhead bombshell, Christina Hendricks.
Remember these tricks for perfect fall hair:
1) Deeper Color. Bottled redheads, ask your stylist to make your hair a deep auburn red. It is extremely flattering, especially when the weather is changing during the fall months. Natural reds, we recommend using a shampoo rinse like Loreal Professional Colorist Collection Shampoo in Walnut. You’ll save yourself a trip to the salon and still get a deep red rinse!
2) Updo’s! We love them. They are classy and easy. Simply gather your hair into a ponytail in the center of your head. Using bobby pins, wrap your hair upwards. Make sure to use lots of hair spray.
3) Bangs. We love bangs during the fall months because it will give you a fresh look in preparation for a new season.
4) Shine Serum. As the weather changes, you’ll notice your hair will too. We like to apply it to our damp hair after taking a shower. We are huge fans of Aquage’s SeaExtend Silkening Oil Treatment.
