While caramel definitely falls into the neutral color category, don’t feel like you can’t experiment with something a little brighter! A splash of red or random chunks of platinum blonde peeping out in an unexpected place can be super fun. If you really want to walk on the wild side, try a blue, hot pink or emerald green. Now don’t confuse this with dip-dying or Ombre coloring as this is not color just on the ends of your strands. Your colorist may use foils or the Balayage technique to “paint” some of the underlying pieces of your hair, giving it the peekaboo effect. This color not only looks cool with big curls like Selena’s, it can give an updo a completely new look as the colors can really show when your hair is pulled up!
