2007 Grammy Awards Hairstyle Reviews
The 2007 Grammy Awards brought together some of the music industries biggest names and also some celebrities in other areas as well. The popular award show dedicated to music is one of the bigger awards before the Oscars and many great looking hairstyles were shown. There were varying hairstyles of different looks including Pink's short crop, Rihanna's medium cut, and Petra Nemcova's stunning long locks. There were tons of great hairstyles and here we present a couple of the best looking ones at the Grammy Awards.

We start with James Blunts guest Petra Nemcova whose appearance at the award show also came with a outstanding look from the shimmering dress to the long brunette tresses. Although she was a guest, the supermodel was one of the best looking at the show with a great blown out hairstyle. The hairstyle features long, flowing locks with natural looking waves at it falls down past her deep cut dress. Long tresses like this are great for deeper cut dresses and the hairstyle provides such a natural beautiful look. You do not have to be a supermodel to look great in a hairstyle like this but it does not hurt.

Now, we move on to a medium cut that is presented very well by the lovely Rihanna. This is a fresh look for the singer and is very complimentary to a lot of different facial shapes. The hairstyle is similar to a bob in providing good facial framing but is more elongated as the hair extends down to the shoulders. The hair that slightly glides over the face is a nice touch for differing angles as it can be brushed to the side. Rihanna has rocked some longer hairstyles but this medium cut is definitely a great selection in her hairstyle library.

For updos at the Grammy's, we look at Martie Maguire of the Dixie Chicks who shows how to pull of an elegant look. Martie has a sharper, more angular jaw line that needs to be softened up and this hairstyle does an excellent job of that. The updo features swept bangs that go over the forehead and a very loose bun in the back with a bow to accessorize and hold in place as well. The hairstyle softens her whole look and really brings out her eyes and smile more. The swept bangs would have been a little better if it were a little higher but still a great option.

Two young stars who made splashes last year also made a splash with their hairstyles at the Grammy's as well. Carrie Underwood and Scarlett Johansson show two different ways of styling longer hair. Carrie's hairstyle features smaller curls, a sweep of the bangs, and more volume at the crown. Scarlett's hairstyle is a simple mid-part with bigger curls that she makes look ravishing. These two hairstyles are great options for ladies with longer hair looking for different styling options.

The comb back was also really popular at the Grammy Awards as stars like Jessica Simpson, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, and Leanne Rimes all combed back their hair with different variations of the longer tresses. Jessica featured wavy extensions, Leanne wore an elegant chignon, and Fergie styled her long locks at the crown with bigger curls. Each one of these beautiful women added a different style to the comb back hair and each succeeded in creating an eye catching look.
These hairstyles were some of the best looking ones at the 2007 Grammy Awards and there should be even more great looking ones at the Oscars.
