2007 Golden Globes Hairstyle Reviews
The 2007 Golden Globes Award Show brings together some of the best actors, actresses, directors, and others in both motion pictures and television. This is one of the major award shows at the beginning of the year and the 2007 awards show brought some old names as well as new faces to the front. It was an absolute must that celebrities look their best for a big red carpet event and there were plenty of trendy hairstyles as well as new hairstyles on some popular celebrities. Of course there were too many celebrities to present all here and many great looks will not be reviewed but several of the ones we found looked the best will be presented here.

Starting with a very elegant hairstyle from a super hero, at least on her television show, Hayden Panettiere has made big splashes at some award shows and really creates an eye catching look here. This hairstyle is actually one that was becoming popular in 2006 and continues to 2007. The hair is a mid-part at the front with the front locks slightly swept on both sides. The hair is brushed back with some definition and the back is pinned much like a ponytail and swept to one side. The long locks are curled to provide an extra touch. This is a variation from an updo with the longer locks being a replacement. This is a lovely look on Hayden and one of the night's best hairstyles.

Sticking with the same theme, another lovely hairstyle is the half updo worn by the lovely Penelope Cruz who was definitely one of the best looking women at the show. Her half updo was done to perfection with a mid-part at the front with the front locks split to both sides. The crown is combed back to form an updo like part with the hair pinned at the back in different sections. The overall appeal of the hairstyle is hands down fabulous and women should definitely take notes for future events.

The 2007 Golden Globes also had many great updos including those from Drew Barrymore, Sienna Miller, and the one presented here on Jessica Biel. Similar to the first to hairstyles is the mid-part at the front but here the front locks are brushed closer to the face for great facial framing. From the crown and back, the hair is set in an updo pinned in sections at the back. Although the earrings are not what we would wear, the hairstyle is definitely red carpet material and Jessica Biel definitely hits a homerun here.

The first three hairstyles were some more complicated looks but the next show some simple styles that are just as fashionable. Hilary Swank definitely looks great with a medium cut but here she shows a good look with some longer locks as well. This is a simple hairstyle with some curly tresses. The front is swept up with a floral hairpin pinning back the hair right above the ear. This is a very simple hairstyle that provides a great look. |

| Now we move on to a very energetic, invigorating, and youthful medium hairstyle. Cate Blanchett came ready to be photographed and be seen with such a simple, yet very beautiful hairstyle. The mid-part with lights natural curls throughout the tresses produces a very youthful appearance. The hairstyle really opens up her facial features while soften the overall ambiance. This is a great choice by Cate and is definitely on our list of great hairstyles at the Golden Globes. |
Again there were many great hairstyles present at the 2007 Golden Globes and too many to present here but the last one here is added because the actress has been seen in many aspiring hairstyles and has made an invigorating change to her current hairstyle. Reese Witherspoon is not a new face to the red carpet but this year as a presenter, she has changed up her hairstyle with a very fresh one. This nice layered cut with some highlights and lowlights creates a very refreshing appearance for her. A very simple hairstyle with the addition of the wispy bangs creates a nice touch. |
These were just some of the great looks at the 2007 Golden Globes and many others were present. Hopefully these selected hairstyles should inspire some prom hairstyles, wedding hairstyles, and maybe even other red carpet hairstyles. Until the Emmy's, keep an eye out for those celebrity hairstyles.
