  2. Based on the desired outcome, part off your first section to twist.
  3. To begin twist, apply a small amount of styling foam or styling gel to the section.
  4. Starting at the hairline, part off a small ½ inch section, separate the section into two equal parts. Twist each part and tie together (as if beginning to tie a bow).
  5. Next, grab another ½ inch section behind the first section. Separate this section into two pieces.
