Brenda Bonnichsen
Brenda was trained in Pivot Point and graduated in 1985 from Colorado Beauty College in Colorado Springs, CO. She has a passion for hair and making her clients look and feel their best. “Nothing is as satisfying as the smile on a person’s face when the get up out of my chair.” Brenda loves creating new looks and using hair color as the medium for part of that change. Color correction, color placement and creative color techniques are Brenda’s specialty. Brenda has had extensive training in a variety of cutting techniques using a variety of tools. Brenda is very intuitive and detail oriented when it comes to cutting hair. “I love it when a cut “fits” a person and it complements their facial shape and features as well as has movement and life!” She can flow from precision classic contemporary to freeform funky and spunky!
Brenda owned 2 salons over a 16 year time period, as well as had the privilege to teach cosmetology students for 2 years. Brenda also became a certified Image Consultant through BeautiControl Inc. in 1989 and began speaking to women’s clubs and organizations.
Back in the salon now, Brenda has added Esthetics to her menu as well as becoming a Certified Hair Extensionist through Great Lengths in 2006. She loves all aspects of the Cosmetology profession and continues to expand her skills every opportunity she gets!
