How do I tame my naturally frizzy hair? |

Frizzy hair can be the toughest to defeat. Any direction you go your going to spend money on a few products to help keep the frizz down. For starters, I recommend that you get your hair trimmed ever 4-6 weeks to help keep your ends from splitting. If you really must blow dry your hair I recommend that you dry it facing downwards using a boar bristle brush to help smooth it out. If you let it dry naturally (as I recommend to keep your healthy) then be sure not to mess with it while it's wet, this will just cause it to frizz even more.
Now on to some products.. First off you need to buy yourself a good no-frizz or anti-frizz product such as Aussie's Tizz No Frizz or Redken Smooth Down Anti-Frizz Shampoo. It's also a good idea to keep an on the spot frizz control serum such as Frizz-Erase by John Frieda or Zero Frizz which can easily be applied to help smooth and shine your hair. Be sure to use a good moisturizing shampoo every other day to help keep the moisture in. On top of that, you need to deep condition your hair once a week, which is a great habit to get into for any hair type. Dry hair can really cause your hair to frizz beyond control. |
