How do I get my hair to grow longer quickly? |

The first step in growing out your hair is by getting rid of all the damaged and unhealthy parts. You may need to go see your barber and have them give you a quick trim. Over the next period of months or years (depending on how long you plan to grow it) we recommend that you keep getting your hair trimmed about 1/2 an inch once a month to prevent any new damaged hair from growing closer to your scalp. Keeping your hair healthy means you will need to avoid using any hair tools that may damage your hair by drying it out or providing too much heat. Tools such as blow dryer's, flat irons, rollers, etc.. should not be used. Sticking to the healthy hair plan also means you will need to avoid any foreign chemicals that change your hair such as hair colors, perms, etc. If you still plan on using hair coloring then try to find one with a low amount of peroxide. If your doing this durring the summer months we really recommend that you keep your hair away from swimming pools and oceans. The chemicals (chlorine, bleach and salt water) can relly dry out and damage your hair. A hair cap is a great option to go swimming with. As with any other hair advice we feel that the natural oils are very healthy and benfecial to your hair. This means you should wash your hair every other day and maybe go on a 2 day splurge when you think about it. There are some natural and ariticial products that will help your hair growth. You can go down to your local walgreens or vitamin store to see what kind of pills you can take to help increase hair growth. Many beleive Biotin is a good suppliment to help increase the natural hair growth, this may be another option. Lastly, stick with a good diet such as eath vegetables and drinking a lot of water. |
